Neuroscientist Jordan Gaines Lewis, PhD is currently an inaugural William Penn Fellow for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania working on public health policy related to the opioid epidemic. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Penn State College of Medicine studying mechanisms underlying the relationship between obesity and sleep apnea.

Jordan shares her passion for the brain on her blog Gaines, on Brainswhich breaks down the latest evidence-based research with the public — minus all the heavy scientific jargon.
